Financing built around the truck

Finance managers working across our BC branch network, with PACCAR Financial and outside lenders behind the deal, and the unit, trade, coverage and service settled in one file. Payment figures come from a finance manager who has seen your file, not from an online estimate.

Three ways to put it to work

Own it, lease it, or rent it. The right answer depends on your contracts, not on which one we'd rather sell.

Finance

You own the truck. Structured through PACCAR Financial or your own lender, with the trade, warranty and service work handled in the same conversation.

  • Ownership and equity
  • New or used Peterbilt
  • Trade-in taken in-house

Lease

Full-service leasing through PacLease. Fixed monthly cost with factory-certified maintenance included, so the shop time is somebody else's problem.

  • Predictable operating cost
  • Maintenance included
  • Terms that match contracts

Rent

Commercial rentals for peak season, a new contract, or while a unit is down. Day, week or month, out of our BC branches.

  • Short-term capacity
  • No long commitment

PACCAR Financial

Financed by the people who build the truck

PACCAR Financial is Peterbilt's own finance arm. That matters in practice: the lender understands what a 579 is worth in five years, what a vocational 567 does to a duty cycle, and how a Peterbilt Pacific service history affects the unit.

Because the finance desk sits inside the dealership, the truck, the trade, the warranty and the service plan are settled in one conversation instead of three. If your own bank or lender is a better fit, we work with them too.

Extended warranty and PACCAR service contracts can be folded into the same file instead of bought later.

Trade-ins

We appraise and take your current unit in-house, so one deal closes instead of two.

Vocational and specialty builds

Mixers, refuse, logging and heavy-haul configurations financed with the body and equipment considered.

How it actually goes

Four steps, no surprises in the middle.

  1. 01

    Talk to a finance manager

Tell us the truck, the work it will do and the shape of payment you need. No credit check happens at this stage.

  2. 02

    We assemble the file

We tell you exactly which documents the lender will want and collect them once, properly.

  3. 03

    We structure the offer

Term, down payment, trade value and any warranty or service coverage are put together as one package for you to review.

  4. 04

    Sign and take delivery

Documents are signed at your branch, the unit is prepped, and your service and parts accounts are set up before you drive it away.

Credit decisions are made by the lender, not by this website. Nothing on these pages is an offer of credit or an approval.

Common questions

Do you show monthly payments online?

No. We do not publish payment estimates, rates or terms on the website. Truck financing depends on the unit, your operating history, the trade and the structure. A number generated by a web form would be misleading. A finance manager gives you real figures.

What documents are usually requested?

For most commercial files: business identification, recent financial statements or tax filings, bank information, details of the unit being purchased, and information about any trade-in. Newer carriers may be asked for additional supporting information. Your finance manager confirms the exact list for your file.

Can you finance a used truck?

Yes. Used Peterbilt units in our inventory are financeable, and the available structures depend on the age, mileage and condition of the unit.

Should I finance or lease?

Financing builds ownership and equity in the truck. Full-service leasing through PacLease converts the truck into a predictable monthly operating cost with maintenance included. Which is better depends on your contracts, your cash position and how you account for equipment. We walk through both without pushing one.

Do you run a credit check when I submit the inquiry form?

No. The pre-qualification inquiry is not a credit application and no credit decision or credit check comes from it. It simply puts you in front of the right finance manager with the context already written down.

Can financing and my trade-in be handled together?

Yes. We appraise and take the trade in-house, so the trade value is built into the same structure as the new unit rather than settled separately.

Let's structure it properly

Send the details once and the right finance manager picks it up, or call and we'll route you to your branch.
