Extended warranty
Extended warranty continues coverage on the engine, driveline and major components after the factory warranty ends. Fleets buy it with the truck or while the unit is still inside its eligibility window. It protects against the cost of a major component failure during the years you plan to run the unit.
- Bought at purchase, or while the unit is still eligible
- Honoured at Peterbilt dealers, not only at your home branch
- Components and eligibility confirmed in writing before you sign
PACCAR service contracts
A PACCAR service contract covers scheduled maintenance and listed repairs, paid for up front with the truck. Fleets buy it when they want maintenance cost fixed in the budget instead of billed job by job. It protects against unplanned shop invoices over the life of the contract.
- Matched to your duty cycle and annual kilometres
- Work performed by factory-certified technicians in our bays
- Service history stays on the unit's record, which helps at resale
Physical damage and gap protection
Physical damage protection covers damage to the truck itself. Gap protection covers the difference between what the unit is worth and what is still owed after a total loss. Fleets buy both at purchase, alongside the financing. Together they protect against carrying a loan on a truck you can no longer run.
- Reviewed against your own insurance so nothing is bought twice
- Explained in plain terms by your finance manager
- Optional, and never a condition of financing with us
Why buy it with the truck
Purchase is the cheapest point to buy coverage. The unit is new to your fleet, it is still eligible, and the cost can sit inside the same financing structure as the truck.
Buying it now also settles responsibility in writing. When a major component fails three years in, the paperwork already says who pays for the repair.
If you already carry coverage for a risk, we tell you and we do not sell it to you again.
Coverage, eligibility, exclusions and duration are set by the program documents you sign. Nothing on this page is a guarantee of coverage. Your finance manager provides the exact terms before purchase.
